Have you ever thought about what life was like for you as a kid or even as an adult just a few years back when laptops were a luxury item? Now, laptops are more of the norm than desktops. Then, I think of myself as a kid where we went to the library and pulled out HUGE books to get information from and now it’s just with a touch of a finger on a screen or a click of a mouse.
As the years have passed and our son is getting older, I knew we needed to get another computer soon one for the family. We needed one for homework and for blogging both, plus we do love watching Netflix. The problem? Our computer just was not holding up anymore. It was time for something new.
The great thing is that now when you purchase a Dell you will get an 8th Generation Intel® Core™ processor. What does this mean? It stays up to date with the current speeds, that means it’s SO fast. It also has an amazing entertainment hub with theater like settings. My kids loved that it talks to you, plus it has touch screen capabilities too. Not only can they use it for homework and learning games but also to watch a show or movie on while I am cleaning or working. My daughter can easily use it because of the touch screen. She can swipe a document or launch a program with the touch of a finger.
One thing that is most important to me is that it has built in security, which gives me a sense of security not only with my kids on it but also when making transactions.
I decided to make one area of my office the homework station. My son loves it and so does my daughter. It works well in our office because I am right there with them working or doing a photo shoot and can easily help them if needed as well. I decided to use what I have on hand to create this work station That meant re-purposing an old cart as a desk. It worked perfect in height and space as well. Then, for the decor, I decided to use a piece of twine and hang it to the wall with pictures on it.
It’s always nice to look up and see fun moments in the mist of doing homework.
This computer has become quite a nice versatile machine for our family. I can easily use it for blogger and my kids can also use it for homework too. Then, of course I use it for shopping too. It’s also very light so we can take it with us easily.
The 8th Generation Intel® Core™ processor is able to keep your computer at pace with the digital world. We all know that moves at a super fast pace, don’t we? Be sure to check out Dell for more great products including this one!
