Chantecaille Les Paillettes Holiday 2017

The last brand that took on sequin molding was Chanel and I didn’t think it could be bettered. Now that those highly intricate type of palettes seem to be a thing of the past for both Chanel and Dior who had it nailed, it’s lovely to see that Chantecaille has taken on the mantel.

If you can bring yourself to use it, there are two shades – both in soft highlighty glow type textures and finishes – in a pale, pale pink and a warm gold. So, it’s really as the mood strikes. A whisper of a kabuki over the top will give a good diffusion of both, or you can go more precisely with your brush stokes and pick up either shade to hit the high tops of your cheek bones.

Both shades pick up light very quickly and easily so you can quite see that unless you’re really revving up the light bounce you don’t need much at all. I think we’re looking at around the £60-£65 mark for UK pricing and the entire Chantecaille Holiday collection (including brush sets) launches next month. I will try and remember to flag up.
