Forward March NY, a Group formed out of the Women’s March Movement, has Released a New Music Video boosting the upcoming New York Constitution Convention (Con-Con) Vote to the tune of “My Shot” from the Musical “Hamilton.”
But what if I told you that every 20 Years/something comes around that Politicians Fear/a New Frontier where they’re gonna sneer and smear/the Name of what we’re Aiming to Accomplish here,” Brooklyn-based Artist Alexandra Laliberte Raps in the Video.
The Video goes through various Amendments that Convention Supporters have pushed, including Anti-Discrimination Protections for Women, Ethics Reforms, and Clean Air and Water Protections.
