Lady Vols: recruit Zarielle Green visiting Tennessee after all

After verbally committing to Kansas earlier this fall, Zarielle Green is reconsidering her decision and again considering Tennessee.

The women's basketball recruit is on campus this weekend, along with her parents, for an official visit. The 6-foot guard from Duncanville High in suburban Dallas is ranked No. 13 in the Class of 2018 by ESPN HoopGurlz and No. 24 by Prospectsnation.com.

Green initially was scheduled to visit Tennessee last weekend. But the visit was cancelled after she announced earlier for the Jayhawks.

Duncanville's Zarielle Green celebrates the team's win over Houston Cypress Ranch in the UIL girls' Class 6A state basketball final, Saturday, March 4, 2017, in San Antonio. Duncanville won 76-65.

Kansas apparently still is under consideration by Green. UCLA might be in the mix as well.

Tennessee has two commitments for its fall signing class: guard Jazmine Massengill, who plays for Hamilton Heights Christian Academy in Chattanooga, and forward Amira Collins, who plays for Paul VI Catholic High in Fairfax, Va.
