Aaron Rodgers thanks fans on Instagram, says 'surgery went well' and vows 'comeback'

Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers says his comeback from a broken collarbone "starts now."

In an Instagram post Thursday night following surgery, Rodgers gives a thumbs up from his hospital bed and thanks fans for the "love support, thoughts and prayers."

He adds "#comebackstartsnow" and "#riseagain."

Rodgers broke his right collarbone in the first quarter of Sunday’s loss to the Minnesota Vikings after a hit by linebacker Anthony Barr.

Rodgers could be out for the rest of the season. Backup quarterback Brett Hundley will lead the Packer offense Sunday against the New Orleans Saints at Lambeau Field.
