Via David H., El Al is very excited to be bringing Boeing 737-900s into their fleet, which will begin service at the end of this month.
There are 4 rows of business class and 26 rows of coach. It’s a modern aircraft to be sure, though El Al is hardly the first to operate it. And that’s an amazing amount of packing peanuts.

What is there to be so excited about? No individual video screens, no lie flat seats. Small carry-on bins. And I imagine there will even be the legendary arrogant El Al service. All in all they would have done better keeping quiet!
Also note that at the end when the plane is flying through the sky it has magically morphed into a 777!

OH. MY. GOD. I think these El Al workers have been taken hostage and are flashing the emergency kidnapping “signal”–a smile.
I would sure hate to be one of the cleaning crew for that commercial.
Yikes. Gets my vote as one of the worst airline commercials ever.
And yes, the peanuts in the wide shots are expensive CGI. Trust me, they did not put them on the plane and then disassembled the engines to get them all out of there!
