Limited number of free flu shots available Thursday

A limited number of free flu shots will be available to area residents of all ages on a first-come-first-serve basis Thursday at Neighborhood House of Milwaukee, 2819 W. Richardson Place.

The vaccinations will be available from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. following a news conference at 10:30 a.m. featuring Milwaukee Mayor Tom Barrett and city Health Commissioner Bevan K. Baker announcing the city's Seasonal Flu Awareness campaign, according to a news release from the health department.
