An armed, drunken, wrong-way driver had a 4-year-old child in his car during a police chase that ended after he struck two other vehicles, including an Oak Creek police squad, according to a criminal complaint.

Terry Michael Zastrow, 46, of Milwaukee faces multiple charges, including first-degree recklessly endangering safety, third-offense drunken driving with a child in the vehicle and endangering safety by use of a dangerous weapon while intoxicated, according to a criminal complaint.

According to the complaint:

Shortly before 12:30 a.m. Monday, Zastrow was eastbound in the westbound lanes of Ryan Road at S. 27th St. when Oak Creek police began chasing his 2012 Chevrolet Impala.

He struck one vehicle head-on before knocking over a light pole in the median, stopping briefly at S. 13th St. before taking off again, and continuing in the wrong direction until he struck the police squad head-on.

The driver of the first vehicle Zastrow struck was injured. Along with the child, police found a loaded .9 mm handgun, a loaded .22 caliber Derringer and a collapsible baton in Zastrow's car, according to the complaint.

Zastrow, who posted a $2,100 bail set by Milwaukee County Court Commissioner Barry Phillips, faces up to 20 years and one month in prison, according to the complaint.
