Carjacking reported in Shorewood parking structure

A carjacking was reported Monday afternoon at a parking structure in Shorewood, police said.

The incident was reported shortly after 4:30 p.m. in the underground structure in the 3500 block of N. Oakland Ave., Shorewood police said.

Three people approached the victim from behind on foot and implied they had a handgun before taking and fleeing in the victim's vehicle, police said.

The incident remained under investigation and no further information was available Monday night, police said.
