I tried this two years ago at the Academy of Sciences in San Francisco. The thing that sucked with this promo is that the voucher had to be redeemed at the ticket windows. You could not enter the museum directly. And on that day half the city was lined up with these vouchers in a queue that stretched well into the park. People reported 90+ minute waits. If you’re on your own, maybe it’s worth the wait for free admission.
