Authorities in Dane County Friday asked the public for help in their search for a 64-year-old cognitively-impaired woman missing from a group home in the Village of Deerfield.

Kathleen "Kathy" Featherstone

Featherstone was wearing a black and white, plaid, long-sleeved shirt, blue jeans, white socks and black slip-on sandals, according to a news release from the Dane County Sheriff's Office.

She was seen shortly after noon Friday at the TA Travel Center in Janesville and has a history of asking for money and rides at truck stops and gas stations, according to the release.
