Michael John Phillips sentenced to life for the DUI manslaughter deaths of two Naples women

Michael John Phillips, 52, of Frostproof, Florida, was sentenced to life by Judge Marcus Ezelle.

Phillips was convicted in August of two counts of DUI manslaughter in the deaths of Naples residents Jennifer Jenkins and Kathleen O’Callaghan. A jury found Phillips was under the influence of methamphetamine when he drove a Kenworth truck across the center line of State Road 64 and slammed into a car driven by Jenkins.
