'Central Time' co-host Veronica Rueckert leaving Wisconsin Public Radio

Veronica Rueckert is leaving as host of Wisconsin Public Radio's "Central Time."

Veronica Rueckert, who has been an on-air voice on Wisconsin Public Radio since 1996 and co-host of WPR's "Central Time" since 2013, is leaving next month.

Rueckert, who is leaving for a "new communication position outside WPR," will have her last day hosting "Central Time" on Nov. 2.

Her co-host, Rob Ferrett, will continue on the daytime news/talk show, which airs 3 to 7 p.m. weekdays on WPR stations, including WHAD-FM (90.7) in Milwaukee.
