A leading web content firm in Las Vegas, NV, is currently recruiting freelance remote editors for our U.S. operation.
We offer the opportunity to work independently from home while becoming a valuable member of a professional editorial community. If you have a strong grasp of the English language and can meet strict deadlines, you may be an excellent fit. Self-motivated and detail-oriented editors thrive in our editorial environment.
All freelance editors must meet the following requirements:
- Be a U.S. citizen
- Have a reliable high-speed internet connection where you will do your work
- Have a PayPal account
- Pass the Textbroker editorial test
- Have a strong command of the English language
- Have excellent communication skills
- Be good at following instructions
- Have impeccable grammar and spelling skills
- Be familiar with AP style
- Have excellent time-management skills
In addition, experience writing SEO-based web copy is a plus. English instructors and advanced college English students are encouraged to apply, but this opportunity is open to anyone with the skill and self-discipline to succeed in the freelance editing market.
We have as much editing work as you can handle. We'll provide the basic training you need, and then you can get started immediately. We pay every two weeks via PayPal once a minimum of $10 is reached. Depending on speed and accuracy, remote editors earn an average of $10 to $14 per hour. Opportunities to earn more are available.
