Jannine Wagner, 55, faces a felony charge of carrying a concealed weapon, according to a Lee County Port Authority Police Department arrest report.

She was booked at the Lee County Jail and released Thursday after posting a $5,000 bond, online arrest records state.

Officers asked whose bag it was, and Wagner said it was hers, according to the report. Officers then took her to a private screening area and asked her whether she knew what was in the bag.

"She stated that it was her deceased husband's bag but her daughter packed the bag," the report states.

Wagner told officers her husband had a concealed-weapon permit and had firearms, so "she is assuming that was what is in the bag," according to the report.

Officers said they found a loaded Springfield XD 9 mm 3.3 pistol in a side pocket of the bag, the report states. No round was chambered in the gun.
