Charlie Berens performs in his comedy video series, "The Manitowoc Minute."

Struggling to shake his Wisconsin accent when he worked as a broadcast journalist, Berens eventually embraced it as a comedian, launching the satirical "Manitowoc Minute" video news reports in mid-June on Facebook and YouTube. Each segment of series, dropped each Monday, has been watched between 460,000 and 1.1 million times.

Tickets for Berens' 8 p.m. show are $15, available at the door, and beginning at noon Friday at the Pabst Theater box office (144 E. Wells St.), the Riverside Theater box office (116 W. Wisconsin Ave.), by calling (414) 286-3663 or visiting pabsttheater.org.
