Ask just about football coach — or football fan, for that matter — to identify the last things they want to see on the field during the game, and you’ll usually hear one of two things: Lack of effort or lack of focus.
While watching Tennessee fight like crazy to hold off winless UMass for a 17-13 win in a shockingly small crowd at Neyland Stadium, though, I started thinking the exact opposite.
