The Tide Loads of Hope Mobile Laundry Unit can help. It has been deployed to support relief and recovery efforts in the wake of Hurricane Irma.

Procter & Gamble's mobile unit began offering laundry services at the Home Depot, 11941 Bonita Beach Road S.E., in Bonita Springs on Friday.

It provides free full-service laundry to residents affected by the recent flooding. Residents can bring up to two loads per household to be washed, dried and folded free of charge. Most laundry, except heavy bedding, will be accepted.

The volunteer team will collect laundry from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. or until 100 loads are reached a day. The volunteers also will distribute cleaning supplies and personal care kits to area residents.

For more information and to keep up with the changing location of the mobile unit, see Tide’s Facebook and Twitter channels at facebook.com/Tide or @Tide.

To help support the Tide Loads of Hope effort, vintage T-shirts can be purchased or donations can be made at tideloadsofhope.com.
