Two men have been charged in separate homicides on Milwaukee's north side, according to criminal complaints released Thursday.

According to the complaints:

Pierre Donshay Taylor, 28, was charged with first-degree reckless homicide/party to a crime/use of a dangerous weapon in the fatal shooting of Jimmy C. Nash, 30.

Nash was shot July 22, 2014, while standing in the parking lot of Fryerz Restaurant, 2635 W. Fond du Lac Ave.

Taylor and another man exchanged words with Nash before both men shot him, according to a complaint that does not identify the second man or indicate if he or Taylor were ever arrested.

State court and Milwaukee County Jail records did not indicate whether Taylor was in custody Thursday.

In the second case, Jamarr J. Hicks, 28, was charged with first-degree reckless homicide/use of a dangerous weapon in the death of Darryl E. Jones, 55.

Jones was shot multiple times shortly before 12:30 a.m. Dec. 24 in the 3300 block of N. 15th St., according to the complaint, which does not indicate whether Hicks was ever arrested.

Court and jail records did not indicate whether Hicks was in custody Thursday.
