What's new on Amazon Prime in October: 'Lore' and some 'Sea Monsters'

Amazon Prime is getting into the fall-premieres business in October with several new series, including "Lore," based on the popular true-horror podcast, and "Sigmund and the Sea Monsters," a live-action redo of the cult Saturday morning TV show from the 1970s. 

Also in the mix is "Inside Edge," a new series from India that "combines the worlds of cricket and entertainment";  and the third season of "Red Oaks," one of Amazon Prime's longest-running series. 

New movies in October on the streaming service include a raft of beloved 1990s comedies, including "Clueless," "Election" and "Fargo," along with some of Amazon's own films, including the Iraq War drama "The Wall," which was shown in theaters this summer.
