Bart Starr or Brett Favre leading the way at quarterback? Vince Lombardi or Curly Lambeau prowling the sidelines as head coach?

Those are just two of the tough decisions Green Bay Packers fans will face when building their “Legendary” roster online.

The Packers are celebrating the 50th anniversary of their Hall of Fame this season, and USA TODAY NETWORK-Wisconsin is providing an easy-to-use method of selecting an all-time Packers Hall of Fame team.

It’s simple. Go to gbpg.net/roster and select your team. In addition to a coach and a quarterback, you will get to choose two running backs, two wide receivers, a tight end, five offensive linemen, three defensive linemen, four linebackers, two cornerbacks, two safeties, a kicker and a punter.

To help you build your dream roster, you can learn more about the Packers legends from every era by clicking on the players’ names. And sorry, Aaron Rodgers fans: Because all players involved are Packers Hall of Famers, current players are excluded.

Your running back decision will be challenging with the likes of Paul Hornung, Jim Taylor, John Brockington, Ahman Green and Dorsey Levens.

Even more difficult could be choosing two wide receivers from among such enticing options as Don Hutson, James Lofton, Sterling Sharpe, Donald Driver and Antonio Freeman.

Voting runs through Oct. 12. After all the votes are in, USA TODAY NETWORK-Wisconsin will reveal which players prevailed at each position.

On Saturday, Oct. 21, the Packers Hall of Fame will mark its 50th anniversary with a special celebration at Lambeau Field and also will honor the 1967 NFL championship team.
