Police search for suspect in Simi Valley robbery

Simi Valley police are looking for a male in connection with a robbery at a check-cashing business Tuesday morning. 

The robbery was reported about 9:40 a.m. at the Check Into Cash business, 3977 Cochran St., police said. 

Authorities said the robber was described as a male in his late 20s to early 30s, about 6 feet tall and weighing about 190 pounds. He was wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt, black mittens, dark colored pants and thick black sunglass.

The male was last seen traveling on foot southbound on Tapo Canyon Drive towards Cochran Street, authorities said.
