Top Knoxville area high school football teams after Week 4

1. Farragut (4-0) — The Admirals dealt Oak Ridge its first shutout in 24 years. Farragut has looked nearly unstoppable in the first four weeks. Last week: No. 1. This week: at Jefferson County.

2. Maryville (3-1) — The Rebels were largely outplayed, but found a way to get past Alcoa to preserve their spot at No. 2. Last week: No. 2. This week: Bye.

3. Fulton (3-0) — The Falcons started off strong and then stalled but held off Austin-East to remain undefeated. Last week: No. 3. This week: at Karns.

4. Catholic (2-2) — The Fighting Irish, who start region play this week, rebounded from the Week 3 loss to defeat Cleveland. Last week: No. 4. This week: at Soddy-Daisy.

5. Alcoa (2-2) — The Tornadoes looked strong against bigger Maryville but a costly fumble turned the tide. Last week: No. 5. This week: vs. Pigeon Forge.

6. Greeneville (4-0) — The Greene Devils continued to put up offense with 42 points in their Week 4 win. Last week: No. 6. This week: vs. Pisgah (N.C.)

7. Anderson County (4-0) — The Mavericks were held under 50 points for the first time this season, with 49. Last week: No. 9. This week: at Howard.

8. Powell (3-1) — Walker Trusley led the Panthers over Karns last week with 20-for-33 passing for 257 yards and a touchdown. Last week: No. 10. This week: vs. Clinton.
