Hurricane Irma Update – Shelter in Orlando for Evacuees

I received this notice late last night. If you need a last minute shelter from Hurricane Irma, Rosen Hotels & Resorts in Orlando announced the availability of 45 guest rooms at Rosen Inn Pointe Orlando for Hurricane Irma evacuees.

The hotel is located at 9000 International Drive. The rooms may be booked for the special hurricane distress rate of $59/night plus tax.

Pets are welcome for no additional fee.

Guest room rates are offered when a tropical storm or hurricane warning is in effect for any area in Florida and will remain in effect as long as the situation is threatening. Rates also are offered as long as necessary to those who are displaced after a storm. Rosen Hotels & Resorts may assess a fee should the hotels determine a guest room has sustained damage as a result of a pet staying in the room.
