A Waynesboro man will face one trial covering four cases stemming from several shootings last year.

Anthony Michael Cobb, 47, faces charges ranging from criminal solicitation of first-degree murder, attempted third-degree murder, aggravated assault and intimidation of witnesses, to felony drug delivery, reckless endangerment and child endangerment. The charges come from four investigations, which also connected several co-defendants to Cobb.

Cobb was the subject of a hearing Thursday morning, where attorneys briefly discussed possible plans for trail. The dates of the trial have yet to be determined.

Cobb is suspected to have been involved with a fight that led to a shooting, and is believed to have sent others after a man he thought was involved in the fight. When investigators went to charge him with involvement in those cases, they found large quantities of drugs in a home that housed children, leading to drug and child endangerment charges.

As it stands, Cobb has three co-defendants, Joseph King, Brandon Maze, Ryan Troskoski among the four cases.

A fifth person, Jessica Jones, was charged with drug delivery and child endangerment, but pleaded guilty to two counts of child endangerment in October 2016, and was sentenced to time-served sentences on both counts. She is on probation for three years.

Troskoski, 23, is charged in the drug delivery and child endangerment case. Maze, 28, and King, 22, are accused of going after a man on Cobb's behalf, with Maze allegedly shooting at the man.

Cobb himself is accused of shooting at a man during a fight during the same time period as all the other incidents.

The prosecutor told the judge they believe the trial would take four or five days, but they had to look for a time to make that happen. He also was not clear on if all four men would go on trial at the same time.
