Tennessee wide receiver Jauan Jennings is "probably done for (the) season," a source told the USA Today Network - Tennessee on Tuesday.

The source said Jennings would know later Tuesday about how long he'll miss.

Jennings left in the first half of Monday's 42-41 double-overtime win over Georgia Tech with an undisclosed injury.

Jennings had three catches for 17 yards in the first half, but he also contributed two of UT's five first-half drops.

“When we first found out, we were still on the field," Tennessee receiver Marquez Callaway said after the game. "They came to us and was like, ‘Jauan may not be back. His wrist is kind of messed up.’ I didn’t think anything too bad happened.

"(Wide receiver) Jeff (George) told me he saw it kind of (go) limp, so I was hoping it wasn’t as bad, but when we came in after the game, we saw him. You could tell he was depressed about it.”

Jennings, a former Mr. Football recipient while at Blackman, had 40 catches for 580 yards with seven touchdowns a year ago. He is the Vols' leading receiver back from last season.

Included were a big touchdown catch in the win over Florida and the Hail Mary catch to beat Georgia.

Callaway led the Vols against Georgia Tech with four catches for 115 yards and two touchdowns.
