The Alliance for Securing Democracy




Leading Members of the Democratic Party have joined forces with Neoconservative Thinkers to push a Hawkish Foreign Policy Agenda.

After the Democratic defeat in 2016, Michael Morell, a former Acting Director of the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) under President Obama, and Jake Sullivan, a Top Foreign Policy Advisor for Hillary Clinton, teamed up with prominent Republicans to create a New Russia focused Think Tank, The Alliance for Securing Democracy.

The Alliance for Securing Democracy declared that it will Develop Strategies to "defend against, deter, and raise the costs" on any Attempts by Russia or "other state actors" to undermine Democracy.

On its Staff and Council are:

Michael Chertoff - President George W. Bush's Second Homeland Security Secretary. He previously served as a United States Circuit Judge of the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit, as a Federal Prosecutor, and as Assistant U.S. Attorney General.

Jamie Fly - Former National Security Aide to Senator Marco Rubio, Former Member of the National Security Council, Defense Department Staffer under George W. Bush, Former Executive Director of the Foreign Policy Initiative, and a Member of a Think Tank Founded by Neocons Bill Kristol and Robert Kagan. Fly worked in the National Security Council and the Defense Department during the President George W. Bush years. After Fly left the Bush Administration, he went on to Head the Foreign Policy Initiative (FPI), another Neoconservative Organization in Washington similar to the famous Project for a New American Century (PNAC).

Bill Kristol - Founder of the Weekly Standard and One of the Ideological Fathers of the Invasion of Iraq. He was Chairman of the New Citizenship Project from 1997 to 2005. In 1997, he Co-Founded the Project for the New American Century (PNAC) with Robert Kagan. He is a Member of the Board of Trustees for the Free-Market Manhattan Institute for Policy Research, a Member of the Policy Advisory Board for the Ethics and Public Policy Center, and a Director of the Foreign Policy Initiative. He is also one of the Three Board Members of Keep America Safe, a Think Tank Co-Founded by Liz Cheney and Debra Burlingame, and Serves on the Board of the Emergency Committee for Israel and the Susan B. Anthony List.

Mike Rogers - Former Republican Chairman of the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence and Defender of the National Security State. Former U.S. Representative for Michigan's 8th Congressional District from 2001 to 2015.
