Mike Glennon settles in as Bears' starting QB in third preseason game
In his third preseason game, Mike Glennon found a comfort zone with the Chicago Bears that eluded him through his previous showings.
Glennon completed 11 of 18 passes for 134 yards and a touchdown Sunday against the Tennessee Titans.
"We're very happy with the way Mike responded, as far as a real game plan and what he did," Bears coach John Fox said. "I thought he played very well."

The performance marked a small breakthrough for the veteran quarterback, who signed a three-year contract with the Bears this offseason but faced criticism after uneven performances in his first two exhibitions.
"He's a competitor," Fox said. "He erased everything on the outside, didn't listen to noise."
A 96-yard opening drive was Glennon's highlight of the day. He completed seven of nine attempts for 84 yards on the series, capping it with a 1-yard touchdown strike to tight end Dion Sims.
Glennon was replaced at the start of the third quarter by rookie Mitchell Trubisky, the No. 2 overall pick in the 2017 NFL draft. Playing with the starters, Trubisky completed 10 of 15 passes for 128 yards and a touchdown.
Trubisky threw a highlight-reel 45-yard touchdown but also had two instances of trouble with the play clock, having to burn a time out and later taking a delay of game penalty.
"It's just experience," Fox said. "You're talking about a rookie in the National Football League at a position that's pretty difficult. You have to be aware of a lot of things, the clock included."
