GREEN BAY – The season-opening game against the Seattle Seahawks at Lambeau Field no longer is the most expensive game on the Green Bay Packers' schedule.

The Seahawks game dropped to fourth place, based on the average of the lowest-cost seats available from seven secondary-market ticket brokers. Tickets for the Seattle game averaged $191 Wednesday, compared to $231 in April, when the NFL schedule was announced. The game is scheduled for Sept. 10.

The home opener will feature what has become a strong rivalry between the Packers and the Seahawks, with the added attraction of former Packers running back Eddie Lacy returning to Lambeau Field after signing with Seattle as a free agent during the offseason.

Prices for the Seattle game, not including ticket brokers' fees, range from $178 to $225.

"It looks like prices are dropping since a high point in early July. I don't think this is all that abnormal, and this is still one of the most in-demand games of the season," said Chris Leyden of SeatGeek

Now topping the list, not surprisingly, is the game at Dallas on Oct. 8. The average lowest-cost price is $269, compared to $201 in April. Standing-room-only tickets, which Dallas uses more than any NFL team, are less expensive and are not included in the average.

The game at Atlanta on Sept. 17 remains the second most expensive game. Lowest-cost ticket prices for the first game in the Falcons' new Mercedes-Benz Stadium average $211, $15 per ticket less than in April.

Games at Cleveland on Dec. 10 and Detroit on Dec. 31 remain the least expensive on the 16-game regular-season schedule. Fans can get into the Browns game starting at $67 per seat and the Detroit game starting at $79. Those prices are both lower than in April.

The least expensive face-value ticket in Lambeau Field is $102 for end zone seats. The most expensive seats — excluding club and suite seats — are $129 between the 20-yard lines.
