SAN FRANCISCO - The Brewers will go for their second series sweep on this nine-game road trip Wednesday afternoon as they conclude a three-game series against San Francisco at AT&T Park.

The Brewers evened the series at a game apiece with a come-from-behind 4-3 victory Tuesday night. They began this trip by taking two of three in Colorado, and another series victory would be big before the Brewers move on to Los Angeles and face the rampaging Dodgers.

Right-hander Matt Garza, who has been struggling this month (2-2, 9.16 ERA in four starts), will try to get back on track for the Brewers. The Giants are countering with lefty Matt Moore, who is having a rough season (4-12, 5.54).

In a bit of player news, the Brewers claimed right-hander Aaron Brooks off waivers from the Cubs and optioned him to Class AAA Colorado Springs. Brooks, 27, was pitching at Class AAA Iowa, where he was 8-9 with a 6.20 ERA, with 181 hits, including 27 home runs, allowed in 138 innings.

Brewers starting pitcher Matt Garza battled his command throughout the game.
