Port Hueneme man injured in crash with Oxnard police vehicle moved out of ICU

A Port Hueneme man who had serious injuries in a collision with an Oxnard police officer this weekend was moved out of an intensive care unit on Monday but remained hospitalized, Oxnard police said on Tuesday.

The crash happened at 12:10 a.m. Saturday as an officer was going to a call in the 1600 block of South Oxnard Boulevard, police said.
