It’s not a Packers song, but it is a song by a Packers player.

Tight end Martellus Bennett tweeted on Monday a link to a song he recorded this summer with Snoop Dogg. “Take a Flight” is posted on his SoundCloud page under his rap name (and Twitter handle) MartysaurusRex.

He wrote on SoundCloud: “While in L.A. this summer I ended up at Uncle Snoop's crib and this is what we ended up creating out of the blue. It wasn't planned it just happened. If you ever see me out ask me about that day. It was pretty awesome. I did a song with Snoop Dogg WTH!!!!!”

Earlier this year, Bennett, who played for the Dallas Cowboys, New York Giants, Chicago Bears and New England Patriots before being signed by the Packers in March, released a five-song rap EP titled “I Am Not a Rapper But Some of My Friends Are ...”

In 2016, he published his first children’s book, “Hey A.J. It’s Saturday,” based on his daughter, Austin Jett.
