Five people were stabbed after a fight broke out at a park last night on Milwaukee's southwest side, police said.

According to police, the fight broke out just before 6:30 p.m. at Clarke Square Park at 23rd and Vieau Place.

The fight happened after a child was involved in an argument with others earlier that day, police said.

Police said the parents of the child went to the park to confront those involved in the argument, resulting in a fight.

Four teenage boys, ranging in age from 13 to 17, were injured, along with a 33-year-old woman, police said. All of the injured are being treated at hospitals with non-life-threatening stab wounds.

Police said two people, a 32-year-old man and a 33-year-old woman, have been arrested.

Milwaukee police are still investigating the situation.
