NFL world furious about hit on Odell Beckham Jr.

The last thing any NFL team wants is a key player going down with an injury in a preseason game. The New York Giants had that nightmare realized on Monday.

During the second quarter of the Giants' preseason game in Cleveland, Odell Beckham Jr. took a nasty hit from the Browns' Briean Boddy-Calhoun.

Boddy-Calhoun went low and made contact with Beckham's left leg. Beckham would eventually limp off the field.

ESPN cameras followed Beckham towards the tunnel, showing the star receiver on the ground in excruciating pain.

The Giants said that Beckham suffered a sprained ankle, but many NFL fans were furious seeing another star player get hurt during a meaningless game from a questionable hit.
