Bucks' Maker helps out on flight

Thon Maker had a strong rookie season for the Bucks.

United Airlines should credit Thon Maker with an assist.

The 20-year-old Milwaukee Bucks big man also earned a new fan when he gave up his cushy "economy plus" seat and folded his lanky, 7-foot-1-inch frame into an economy seat in the last row.

Maker made the move to help get the delayed flight up in the air. Volunteers were needed to move seats to get all the paying customers on the plane.

Paul Kuzma also gave up his extra leg room and was impressed that an NBA player would do the same. Despite being a distant relation of Los Angeles Lakers rookie Kyle Kuzma, Paul is not a NBA fan and had never heard of Maker.

Kuzma was so taken that he typed out a lengthy Facebook post about the seat shuffle that quickly became viral.
