Solheim Cup player celebrates short putt early

Luke Kerr-Dineen
USA TODAY Sports

WEST DES MOINES, Iowa - Cristie Kerr has been a star for the U.S. team all week, salvaging a brilliant half-point in the opening session and following with two more victories on Saturday. She's done it all boasting a certain swagger, too.

"Clutch," she described her putt to salvage a half point on Friday. "I took a lot of deep breaths before I even went back to mark my ball. I didn't have any nerves."

But during Sunday Singles, that swagger came back to bite her.

After a victory on the opening hole, she was a short putt away from goign 2UP through two. She hit the putt, liked it, started walking after it before it went in the hole and then…oops.

Never celebrate early, kids.
