The report said 16 pieces of jewelry valued at $22,500 were stolen in the past year. The owner noticed the jewelry was missing this month when she was packing for a trip.

The homeowner identified the items from three pawn transactions associated with the jewelry that Villaflor pawned, according to the report.

When Villaflor came to a Sheriff's Office substation to be questioned, she brought pieces of stolen jewelry with her in a cloth sack, according to the report.
