Floral Framed Flower and Foliage

Good Saturday morning.  I have a flower project to share with you today using one of my favorite color combinations and the Hero Arts Daisy Cutting Set, Floral Border with Frame and My Favorite Things Leafy Greenery.  I love the white floral frame against the purple background. I made this card for the Splitcoaststampers Free For All Challenge to create a project with a bow.

I attached the die cut frame to the card base using strips of mounting tape.  I used my stylus and molding pad to form the petals of each flower layer and attached them together with glossy accents.  I placed the whole set of greenery dies on my platform and cut.

I attached a few of the larger sections of foliage in the center of the card base and attached with glossy accents.  I attached the flower with glossy accents and then filled in with smaller greenery around the flower attaching with glossy accents. I added a smaller flower and a pearl  to the center of the main flower to complete it.  I finished the project with a small multi loop bow.

I have to laugh as I finish my post.  I didn’t realize that my foliage took on a sort of windmill shape.  It wasn’t really what I was going for.  It’s funny that I didn’t really notice it while I was arranging.

Thanks for coming by and I hope you have a great Saturday.
