Revlon One-Step Dryer Review

One of the greatest feelings in the world, is stepping outside a hair salon with perfectly coiffured hair; the problem is this costs both time and money - that and I personally loathe visiting a hair salon full stop (why are they so heavy handed?). Well the at home solution may surprise you, not only is the Revlon One-Step Dryer entirely affordable but is the closest thing I have ever encountered to a salon quality blow dry. It is quick, easy, as mentioned affordable and perhaps more importantly kind to the hair, even when used frequently.

As you can see the Revlon One-Step Dryer is a two-in-one tool it both styles and dries the hair in one quick step and as it is a large paddle brush, through personal experience I have found it to be ideal for gently de-tangling, just washed hair with next to no effort. As we all have different hair types and of course requirements the Revlon One-Step Dryer features two heat settings and a cool mode - ideal for locking a hair style in place. In the past I have tried similar hair tools, aimed at drying and styling the hair in one swift move but most lacked the power to do so, or were simply too cumbersome to use more than occasionally; fortunately the Revlon One-Step Dryer is light weight (and has a great, long tangle-free swivel cord) and boasts an impressive 1000w of drying power so it does do all it sets out to and more.

For those like myself, who don't use heated styling tools on their hair too often due to the damage element, you'll be pleased to learn that the Revlon One-Step Dryer boasts ionic conditioning which not only protects the hair but also eliminates frizz, and helps to create smooth and shiny locks. I also find that as the Revlon One-Step Dryer is a large paddle brush, the tangle-free bristles, quickly and efficiently glide through the hair, snag and damage free - if ever you have melted a brush using a standard hairdryer you will know how much of a blessing this is.

All of the above sounds great on paper but does it work? In a word, yes. I have longer than long hair (I can sit on it), that is thick and prone to frizz, creating silky, soft and straight hair is not typically an easy task. As such, the first time I used my Revlon One-Step Dryer I set aside 45 minutes, hoping it would give me ample time to dry and of course straighten my hair - well as it turns out I only need 15-20 minutes at the very most (depending on how dry my locks are). It truly couldn't be easier to use, simply switch on and use as you would a traditional hair brush - I didn't even bother sectioning my hair and was still more than pleased with the results. I won't pretend that I use this daily as sometimes I do like to play up my natural waves but if I want straight hair in a hurry, this is the gadget I reach for.
