Harley-Davidson’s new Street Rod is aimed at urban riders navigating their way through traffic. The bike’s revised chassis and improved suspension make it quick, light-handling and easy to ride, according to Harley.
The Street Rod’s new single-overhead-cam V-Twin engine has an increased redline from 8,000 to 9,000 rpm. It produces 18% more horsepower and 8% more torque, Harley says. Liquid cooling helps maintain performance and rider comfort in stop-and-go urban traffic.

Starting a conversation about motorcycle riding, Harley-Davidson Inc. is launching a series of short online videos with biker-generated and filmed content.

In the videos, 30 and 90 seconds in length, Harley will share moments captured by riders from all walks of life.

The new social media platform, “All for Freedom, Freedom for All,” is part of the company’s 10-year strategy to create the next generation of riders.

Harley is enlisting its network of riders, dealers and employees on social media to post their images and stories.
