Any Ultimate AAward trip to Scotland wouldn’t be complete without a stop to the Old Course at St Andrews to where the game began.

We stopped by the Rocca Grill at the Rusacks hotel for a nice dinner with a view.

It wasn’t pouring down rain on this day. The weather was unreal for an early Scotland day in June. We poured down a bottle of 2008 Segla to mark the occasion. The wine was fantastic! But the views and company were better.

This was one of my all time best happy hours. What was your best happy hour view?

  1. The Rusacks is great! I would highly recommend the hotel for a late breakfast. Go anytime after 9:30-10, after all the golfers have run off to their tee time. One of the most beautiful and memorable breakfasts I’ve ever had!

  2. Best Happy Hour View – at the North Shore on Oahu a place called Jameson’s By the Sea where hurricane lamps and fresh flowers grace tables with crisp white linens, while fans spin in the ceiling. Drinking champagne cocktails and watching the gorgeous sunset!
