Chase is supporting National Small Business week and they are offering some deals along with their support. The week of June 17 – 21, 2013, Chase is offering special bonus offers on the Chase Ink Business Cards (Ink Bold® Business Card, Ink Plus® Business Card, Ink Cash® Business Card), a free Card Reader that allows you to accept payments from major credit cards directly from your phone and $150 in Google Adwords.

I use the Ink Plus® Business Card for business spending. I use it because of the generous spend bonuses like 5x points at office supply stores, cell phone, land line, internet and cable, 2x points at gas stations and hotels, and 1x points on everything else. But also it comes with an easy way to manage and keep track of my business spending. So I’m looking forward to seeing what offers are available the week of June 17 – 21, 2013. I was also considering picking up a free Card Reader with Chase Mobile Checkout. It comes with no set up fees but I need to do a little more research on transactions fees compared to other readers like SquareUp. SquareUp Card readers offer two pricing options. You can select either 2.75% per swipe or $275 per month. The $275 fee per month will be great for those who receive more than $10,000 in payments per month.

Chase Mobile Checkout

Chase Mobile Checkout is a little more complicated. The fees are per swipe and come with a monthly fee. The per swipe fees are based on the type of card processed.

  • 1.5% for debit cards
  • 1.77% for qualified (regular cards – think no rewards)
  • 2.89% for all American Express cards
  • 2.99% for mid point cards (typical rewards cards)
  • 3.49% for non qualified cards 3.49% (international or corporate)
  • Additional fees
  • $0.23 cents per authorization and a $7.95 monthly fee

Comments

  1. These deals seem very, very similar to the ones that are available to Chase Ink card holders at anytime via their Chase Ink Insider’s offers. If their are any differences between this Small Biz Wekk offer and the always available Ink Insider’s offer I’d love to hear about it.

  2. Any idea on what is meant by special offers on the Ink cards? Will these be limited-time enhanced bonuses, or bonus spending?
