fridays-listEvery Friday I post a short list of the things I’m reading, listening to, loving and wrestling with:

Here’s what I’m reading right now:

4 Work-Life Questions to Ponder on Vacation This Summer by Art Markman on Fast Company. HT Tim Stevens.

Are You Too Busy? Read This Before You Answer by Phil Cooke. Very much a challenging post and worth the read if you’re a writer or produce content.

8 Good Questions to Evaluate Your Church by Dan Reiland. Great list of questions…and you know I love a good question.

This ONE Word Will Change Your Life (Promise) by Margaret Feinberg. Very helpful read for today.

7 Reasons Your Fall Group Launch Could Fail by Allen White. Good insights. If you’re planning a group launch this fall, this will be a helpful read.

Monday’s Preparation Brings Friday’s Success by Ron Edmondson. Great ideas. Read and apply.

WANT AN ABUNDANT LIFE? CHANGE YOUR THINKING by Michael Hyatt. I really like this one. More than food for thought, this is a good read and a better application..

Gospel Fluency: Speaking the Truths of Jesus into the Everyday Stuff of Life by Jeff Vanderstelt. I really like the angle of this one.

Here’s what I’m listening to:

Ken Blanchard—Cross-Generational Mentoring on the EntreLeadership Podcast. There is a really good idea in this one. Loved the takeaways.

Ask Better Questions: Am I Telling Myself the Truth? – Jodi Hickerson Discovered this podcast this week. Very good.

Three Daily Habits That Will Change Your Life on the Accidental Creative Podcast. Needed this reminder.

The Inevitable: Understanding the 12 Technological Forces That Will Shape Our Future Audible Audiobook – Unabridged by Kevin Kelly. Very interesting. One of the books I’m recommending on my 2017 Summer Reading List.

Quotes I’m wrestling with:

“Life can be much broader, once you discover one simple fact, and that is that everything around you that you call life was made up by people that were no smarter than you. And you can change it, you can influence it, you can build your own things that other people can use. Once you learn that, you’ll never be the same again.” Steve Jobs

App I’m using:

I’m learning to consistently leverage Evernote as my go-to place to store ideas, quotes, and content. I’ve had this app for several years and always mean to use it more.

My own post I hope you’re reading:

HOW TO CHOOSE THE BEST SMALL GROUP MODEL FOR YOUR CHURCH

Here’s the question: Is there really a best small group model for your church? And if there is, what would happen if you were able to identify it and implement it?

What do you think?

I believe there is a best small group model for your church.

I also believe once you learn to identify the best model for your church and have implemented the strategies and tactics taught in this course you’ll begin to see results that move you toward your preferred future.
