If you missed out on the pre-launch of Urban Decay Naked Heat Palette, then do I have good news for you! Today is the day, that the ever coveted, warm toned palette is finally on sale online in the U.K and Ireland via Debenhams (it will go in stores on August the 3rd). Tell a friend, shout it from the rooftops but more importantly treat yourself to the rich medley of neutral shadows because we both know you deserve it - and of course you will look utterly slammin' in all of the shades.

I have every single Urban Decay Naked Palette that has been launched to date and thus far, in terms of packaging, this has to be my favourite. Not only is it entirely sturdy and constructed of hardy plastic (great for travel etc) and yet it doesn't look or feel cheap - quite the contrary. The pretty, amber toned casing is both practical and visually stunning - in my mind it is reminiscent of a late night sunset and begs to be used on a hot vacation (a girl can but dream). For ease of application, the Urban Decay Naked Heat Palette contains both a dual ended brush, and of course a generously sized mirror.

Inspired by all aspects of heat (fire, sun, spice and more) Urban Decay Naked Heat Palette features no less than 12 brand spanking new shades; perhaps only impressive to me but I'm so glad that Naked Heat does not contain a black eyeshadow. Let's be real we've all had our share of same-y shades and with the Urban Decay Naked Heat Palette you won't have to worry about repeat hues as all 12 shadows are exclusive to the palette.

Yes as the name suggests, Urban Decay Naked Heat Palette does have an (almost) entirely warm toned line up but don't let that put you off, or restrict your creativity as this is a far more adaptable palette than I originally gave it credit for. For starters, the matte neutrals are wonderful everyday options and great for adding definition and depending on your hair colour, they could be used on the brows too. Then there is an array of deeper shades, gently arranged amongst the robust, ruddy-toned metallics that make creating a smoky eye a breeze. Basically if you can imagine it, you can do it with this nifty kit.

If you have tried any Urban Decay eyeshadows of any kind, then you will know the drill: creamy, beautifully pigmented hues, that apply and blend out with ease and of course wear wonderfully well too - around 8/9 hours without creasing on my oily lids. Again this may just be my personal opinion but I do think that out of all the Urban Decay Naked palettes, this is easily the most pigmented, all of the shades applied with such ease, especially the matte shades. I did encounter a little product fall out with certain shadows but nothing concerning and if applied with primer, I imagine that this would be a complete non-issue.

Warm, sunset inspired tones of eyeshadow aren't going anywhere for the time being, I'm sure there will be lots of palettes featuring an array of amber tones in the coming months but none come close to Urban Decay Naked Heat Palette. It's the hard-working, suit all and every occasion palette that everyone needs.
