Milwaukee County bus driver and passenger help return lost two-year-old

A Milwaukee County bus driver helped return a lost two-year-old boy to his home earlier this month.

Milwaukee County Transit System bus driver Duane Butler was on his route when he saw a young boy alone outside in his slippers around 6:30 a.m., according to a Facebook post. 

Bulter asked a passenger to go and talk to the boy and bring the two-year-old safely onto the bus. The passenger helped calm the boy down while the bus driver called police and waited for them to arrive. 

Once police arrived, they went door to door with the boy, who had snuck out of his house while everyone was asleep. Police were able to successfully reunite the boy with his mother.
