Indiana Senators seeking applicants for state USDA roles

Indiana’s Senators are looking for qualified candidates to fill state-level leadership positions with the USDA.  Senators Joe Donnelly and Todd Young will review applications and make a joint recommendation to the President, who will then select the nominees.

The positions of State Director of the Farm Service Agency and State Director of Rural Development are open.  The state FSA director is in charge of administering the federal programs under the Farm Service Agency and the director of Rural Development oversees housing and community facilities programs, business programs, and utilities programs.

Resumes and references must be submitted to the Senators by August 18.  Once a nominee is named by the White House, the directors can begin in their roles.
