CCSO seeks suspect in Golden Gate sexual battery

Collier County Sheriff's Office detectives are looking for a man in connection with a burglary and sexual battery.

Deputies were called around 4 a.m. Sunday to an address in Golden Gate on a report of a woman who had been beaten and sexually battered. The crime happened at a residence north of Golden Gate Parkway and east of Santa Barbara Boulevard.

Detectives said a Hispanic male entered the home and attacked the woman while she slept.

Investigators reminded residents to lock their doors and report anything that looks suspicious.
