19-year-old man dies in West Allis motorcycle crash

A 19-year-old man died Saturday night in West Allis after losing control of his motorcycle and crashing near Highway 100 and W. Dakota St., according to the West Allis Police Department.
Speed was believed to be a factor in the crash, said a news release from the department, which is continuing to investigate the incident.
Officers responded to the single-vehicle crash Saturday at 11:16 p.m., according to the news release. They found the 19-year-old driver in the road with severe injuries, and despite lifesaving efforts, the man died at the scene. Authorities believe the man was traveling northbound on Highway 100 when he lost control of the motorcycle.
