Milwaukee pol-ice cream truck to be used in community events

Milwaukee Police revealed their very own ice cream truck during a community event on Friday at Franklin Square Park.  

The pol-ice cream truck will travel to special events and different Milwaukee neighborhoods throughout the summer as an opportunity for officers to share a treat with the citizens they serve according to a news release. 

A new ice cream truck was displayed during a Milwaukee Police Department event on Friday at Franklin Square Park. The department teamed up with Pick 'n Save and Kemps to provide free ice cream. Milwaukee Public Schools Department of Recreation & Community Services and the Boys & Girls Clubs provided  activities, food and entertainment for children.

The truck is made possible through a partnership with Pick 'n Save and Kemps ice cream, and was unveiled at an event made in partnership with the Boys & Girls Club and Milwaukee Public Schools
