Man killed in double shooting on Milwaukee's north side

One 21-year-old man was killed an another person was wounded Thursday night in a double shooting on Milwaukee's north side, police said.

The shootings were reported about 9:30 p.m. on the corner of N. 4th and W. Melvina streets, police said.

The man was taken to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead shortly after arrival, and the second victim was located at a hospital and is expected to survive, according to police.

No further details on the shootings were available late Thursday night.
